Recreation update

As of April 8, 12:01am, proof of vaccination is not required to access Saanich recreation centre programs and facilities.

Mask wearing remains a personal choice in Saanich recreation centres.

Saanich Parks, Recreation & Community Services remains committed to the safe enjoyment of our facilities for all patrons, and is following communicable disease guidance from WorkSafeBC. Please continue to check here for updates and specifics as they are posted.

Council meeting participation

Although in-person attendance is now permitted, space for attendees in the Council Chambers is extremely limited due to COVID-19 related safety measures. It is available on a first-come, first-served basis. It is recommended that applicants and/or residents who wish to attend the meeting in person have an alternate plan for electronic participation in case space is not available. Electronic participation is strongly recommended.
