Through our governing Municipal Police Board, we maintain an independent, full service police department. It has152 sworn members supported by 51 civilians and 50 volunteer Reserve Constables.
Saanich Police has six Divisions:

- Professional Standards Audits and Plans
- Administration
- Staff Development
These Divisions manage programs like crime prevention, animal control, Blockwatch and our school liaison program.
