The District of Saanich is seeking an auxiliary relief Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional customer service through answering the switchboard, being the Municipal Hall receptionist and providing information services to the general public and staff.  The successful candidate will perform a variety of clerical tasks.

Requirements include: Grade 12 graduation plus one year post-secondary education with courses in office administration, keyboarding, customer service, telephone reception and office equipment, or equivalent; keyboarding speed of 45 wpm; one year multi-line telephone system operation and customer service reception experience; proficient in MS Office Suites for word processing, spreadsheets, email systems and database applications.  Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

This is casual, on-call work with varying shifts providing relief for sick leave and vacation coverage of our regular part time Customer Service Representatives that work Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
