COVID-19 update regarding bylaw enforcement
On March 26, the Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General announced an order enabling bylaw enforcement officers to assist in the enforcement of Provincial Health Orders. The District of Saanich has established a COVID-19 Enforcement Team to coordinate efforts in assisting with enforcement of Provincial Health Officer orders and to ensure compliance with District-issued closures of recreation facilities, activities and municipal services as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
