Cadboro Bay Local Area Plan adopted by Council on June 12, 2023
The Cadboro Bay Local Area Plan (LAP) will guide growth and change in Cadboro Bay over the next 20-30 years. The LAP works to implement the Saanich-wide vision articulated in the Official Community Plan at the local level.
The updated Cadboro Bay Local Area Plan [PDF - 31 MB] was adopted by Council on June 12, 2023. Thank you to all the community members and stakeholders who contributed to the Plan Development process.
At the June 12 meeting Council adopted the Cadboro Bay Local Area Plan by resolution. Council also provided direction to incorporate the updated Cadboro Bay Local Area Plan as part of the OCP Bylaw, with that consideration to be combined with the upcoming adoption process for the Strategic OCP Update, which is anticipated to be considered by Council in late summer / early Fall 2023.

Following public consultation on the Draft Cadboro Bay Local Area, a number of changes were incorporated. Please see below for details.
