Scope of Work: The purpose of this RFP is to select one (1) qualified Proponent to enter into Contract to design and supply Firewall(s) as well as a managed service contract for 5 years with options for 5 additional 1 year extensions (up to a 10-year total) to the Corporation of the District of Saanich (“District”). Within the 1st five years, the District expects that It will complete a technology refresh of all the firewalls procured under this agreement.
The Contractor should be capable to provide complete professional services in: design; provision; implementation; decommissioning replaced equipment; training and documentation; and managing the solution.

Section 5.0 outlines the evaluation process for selecting the Preferred Proponent. To receive full consideration, each Proposal should follow the instructions, requirements, format, and number of copies provided in Section 2.
A response form is provided as Appendix 3. Proponents are requested to use the form as provided in submitting their response. Proponents are also requested to complete the Excel Workbook posted with this Request. Additional supporting materials may be attached.
The contract term will include purchasing additional hardware, software and professional support for the duration of the agreement.

*Prospective Proponents, that have not already done so, should register their intentions prior to the end of business day November 15, 2017 by completing and returning as directed the Attachment A Proponent Regsitration Form, Section 9 of the RFP.
Requirement: The Excel Workbook (refer to Section 8.1.8) will only be sent to those proponents that complete, sign and return Attachment A: Proponent Registration Form.
