Visit the Archives
Saanich Archives is open to the public Monday to Friday 10 am to 4:30 pm. We welcome inquiries from everyone with an interest in the history of Saanich - students, teachers, genealogists, artists, historians, writers, residents - and look forward to helping with your research. We are located inside the Saanich Centennial Library. Please enter the library and follow the signs to the Archives.

Reference Room
Visitors are welcome to browse through the reference room materials which include books on B.C. history, pioneer files, copies of photographs and maps, directories, oral history interviews, and changing exhibits of archival material. Staff are on hand to answer questions and help with your research.
Finding aids are available for access to the original archival records, which are stored on-site in a climate controlled vault.
Saanich Archives is fully wheelchair accessible.
Please note that no food or drink is permitted in the Archives.
