Purchase an annual Regional Recreation Pass at any Saanich Recreation Centre, that's valid at thirteen regional recreation centres in the Capital Region:   
For only $420.10, enjoy unlimited fitness drop-ins such as swimming, skating, weightroom and group fitness (dryland and water based) at any of the 13 Greater Victoria regional recreation centres (with the exception of the YMCA-YWCA).  There is also an option of purchasing the regional recreation pass on scheduled payments of $35.00 per month (plus a one time $25.00 administrative charge).

The annual Regional Recreation Pass is valid at the following Recreation Centres:

  • Archie Browing Sports Centre, 1151 Esquimalt Rd., Esquimalt
  • Cedar Hill Centre, 3220 Cedar Hill Rd., Saanich
  • Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre, 2275 Quadra st., Victoria
  • Esquimalt Recreation Centre, 527 Fraser St., Esquimalt
  • Gordon Head Recreation Centre, 4100 Lambrick Way (off Feltham Rd.), Saanich
  • Oak Bay Recreation Centre, 1975 Bee St., Oak Bay
  • Juan De Fuca Recreation Centre, 1767 Island Highway, Colwood
  • Panorama Recreation Centre, 1885 Forest Park Dr., North Saanich (near Sidney)
  • Pearkes Recreation Centre, 3100 Tillicum Rd., Saanich
  • Henderson Recreation Centre, 2291 Cedar Hill X Rd., Oak Bay
  • Saanich Commonwealth Place, 4636 Elk Lake Dr.

The Annual Regional Recreation Pass is a pilot project of Active Communities, a cross-sectoral initiative focused on supporting communities to increase activity levels of British Columbians by 20% by the year 2010.

 

Full registration for Winter programs is now in progress!

For online registration you need to first contact one of our four recreation centres and get a personal barcode and PIN.

For those who do not have a credit card or those who do not like to use their credit cards online, an account credit can be set up ahead of time at one of our centres.

Saanich's Active Living Guide is published regularly. It appears approximately every six weeks in Wednesday's edition of the Saanich News.

Most of the programs in the Guide are now available online.  If you would like a printed copy, please pick up at any Saanich community recreation facility, the Saanich Municipal Hall, any Saanich Public Library and Thrifty Foods.


2009 Children's Fitness Tax Credit
Receipt Information

Saanich Parks & Recreation is pleased to provide an official Children's Fitness Tax Credit receipt, for eligible children's courses from 2009, as required. Children who registered in eligible courses, will have an official receipt available to parents or guardians upon request.


Further information about the Children's Fitness Tax Credit may be
obtained from the Canada Revenue Agency

Receipts may be obtained from our Reception Staff.

Pre-Authorized Debit Plan:

The Recreation Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Plan is an optional payment plan which provides an opportunity to make equal monthly payments for Saanich Recreation one year Passes, ten month Pre-school Programs and the Triathlon Club. The payments are made by authorizing automatic transfer of payments from a chequing account at any Canadian financial institution or charged to a valid credit card, to your Saanich Recreation account. For further information, please inquire at any Saanich Recreation Reception Desk.
