Cedar Hill Recreation Center is excited to be presenting a State of the Art Ceramics Facility.  The only one of it’s kind on the Island!

The studio currently offers :

  • 12 electric potters wheels
  • oxidation and reduction kilns contained in their own compound
  • Paasche spray booth
  • a 20 inch Brent slab roller
  • a large work table exclusively for hand building
  • concrete wedging tables
  • specialty clay bodies & recycled clay
  • ware carts to minimize the handling of your work
  • many colourful cone 6 stoneware glazes
  • stainless steel trough sinks with multiple faucets
  • tech support to answer your questions

Orientations for Open Studio Drop-ins

The Cedar Hill Arts Centre studio facilities are open to all who are interested in accessing the use of our creative spaces when classes and workshops are not in session.

To engage in our facilities you must first register for a one time orientation to the Arts Centre. The orientation will include Art Studio 1 and 2 as well as the Ceramics studio. Your orientation will allow you to register for your Arts Access Pass and give you drop-in privileges to all three studios for the duration of your pass.

In due time you will have options to rent a limited size locker space to contain your art tool kit as well as storage for your canvases and oversized drawing boards.

Orientations $15.00 + HST
