INSTRUCTIONS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

We are working to the best of our ability to bring you the very highest level of customer service available through our new on-line publications. Before proceeding you need to read and understand the following important information. Remember that Saanich's Active Living Guides are highly interactive on-line publications that contain many multimedia features. Some things to note before opening these publications:

  1. Click on any page to zoom into the page details AND also use your MOUSE WHEEL to ZOOM IN for even greater magnification! You can check the program and course session availability, registration levels, waiting lists and more by clicking on the six digit course code found under each program and course description.
  2. Explore the many features found on each and every page  - move your mouse pointer around  to explore each page. For eample even the COVER PAGE has interactive features! The TABLE OF CONTENTS is hyperlinked and you can navigate to your favourite section right from the cover! Also see what happens when you move your mouse over the facebook or Saanich logo icons on the front cover page.
  3. You will see some text that moves or pulsates when you scroll your mouse pointer over the text - this means there are videos or other links you can follow. Other text or sections pulsate on their own and this means you need to rest your mouse pointer over that text or section that's pulsating!
  4. There are some pages that have MORE than one Video on them! To avoid two videos from playing at the same time use the video control box to pause one of them. You can access the video "control box" by resting your mouse over the video (This only applies to video's that auto-load when you open a page of the ALG).
  5. ALL of the courses, lessons and programs CAN BE REGISTERED INTO FROM THE GUIDE by clicking upon the COURSE CODE found under each course description. You will see that the COURSE CODE CHAGES COLOUR when you move your mouse pointer over the code.
  6. ENJOY OUR PUBLICATIONS AND HAVE FUN!

If you experience any problems viewing information on the course you're interested in please call one of our 4 Recreation Centres to assist you.

Go can also go to RecOnline for details on registering.  Please note: To register on line contact any one of our recreation centres for your barcode and PIN information.

Copies of the Saanich Active Living Guide are also available at all Saanich Recreation Centres, Saanich Libraries and Thrifty Foods locations as of each publications release date.
