Saanich Parks, through the Playground Improvement Program, the play equipment in Rogers Park is scheduled replacement this year. Saanich Parks has been meeting with the North Quadra Land Use & Protection Association, to develop the attached Playground Plan.

The new playground equipment will replace the existing components; 2 seat swings, a ‘spinner’ component, and a “Fire Engine” play unit has been purchased for the playground. This play area will in be installed in the location shown on the attached plan.

The construction is currently underway with completion before the end of September. Construction crews will be on site for most of August. Please note this schedule is highly dependent on issues such as weather and ground conditions, and thus, may be subject to change.

The construction will involve some machinery and truck movement on neighbouring streets, especially Genevieve Road, adjacent to the park. Onsite workers and roadside flagging crews will assist the public around the construction areas during working hours. Please use extra caution when in this area during construction times.
