Our Teen Centres are safe, welcoming, drug and alcohol-free environments for pre-teens and teens to socialize in a supervised, supportive and friendly environment.
Our state of the art centres are complete with foosball, ping pong, and pool tables, surround sound & big screen T.V.'s, an entertainment area with Gaming consoles (Playstation 2, Wii, & X-BOX - varies with the centre).
Saanich Youth Services is committed to providing the youth of Saanich with interesting programs, outstanding events, and relevant leadership development.
The United Way of Greater Victoria, in partnership with the Municipality of Saanich and the Intermunicipal Recreation Youth Services of Greater Victoria, will recognize the valuable contributions made by youth throughout the Greater Victoria region at the 14th Annual Youth Now Awards.
Individual youth and groups of youth (between 11 and 29 years old) who have provided extraordinary service to others, acted as role models for environmental stewardship, provided outstanding contribution to their Municipality or demonstrated exceptional personal accomplishments can be nominated for Youth Now Awards. Applications will be accepted throughout the year, but the deadline for submission to be considered for this year’s awards is noon Friday, April 13th.
Ages 15-18. Apply to intern at one of Saanich's many summer camps! You'll have fun in the sun while learning employment readiness and leadership skills under the mentorship of our qualified staff.
Successful participants will receive a $500.00 honorarium.
Apply by June 1st, 2012 by sending us a Cover Letter and Resume.
