Under the general direction of a Recreation Programmer, the Program Assistant will provide supervision to participants in spring break day camps. Program Assistants will ensure the safety and well-being of participants and communicate and work cooperatively with participants, parents, and supervisors. Spring break day camps will include: General, Cooking, Aquatic, Sport, Outdoor, Teen, Leadership and Skateboarding.
Requirements include completion of Grade 10, three months experience in a recreation day-camp environment, satisfactory police information check, Emergency First-Aid and CPR Level C.
The successful candidates will be required to work Monday to Friday, varying daytime hours, up to 40 hours per week.
