Scope of Work: This is an invitation to quote on the provision of Arboricultural Services for the District of Saanich’s Parks, Public Work and Engineering Departments on an as and when requested basis.
It is the intent of the District to award to up to a maximum of three Contractors. The District may in its sole discretion select a contractor based on requirements of the applicable project and the qualifications of the contractor.
The successful Contractor(s) should be generally available, flexible and readily accessible on short notice to perform the below noted work on weekdays during the day, weekday evenings and weekend days and evenings.
The Contractor(s) must have a clear understanding of current ANSI A300 standards for acceptable arboriculture practices, District Bylaws, Tree Protection Bylaws, energized power line limits of approach, and WorkSafeBC regulations.
Term: The term is one (1) year from May 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020 with an option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year terms:
